BARE WIRES are everything that's great about California wrapped up into the best goddamn band to steal my heart away. Hyper pop music that would be right at home in a John Hughes movie. thee mightily omnipresent BLACK LIPS get down low and scuzzy @ the PHOENIX. Obviously, very little more can be said about the Black Lips than has already been said. They defined a genre within 2 albums, and keep the whole surreal party together after 8 years. This show was exceptional. I'm back in the Black Lips' arms.
